Me too,he knows his stuff

He does not understand FFP

Correct, plus the American guy made him look ill informed....New York geography not his strong point.

Like him but thought he made himself look like a twat tonight with that and FFP.

Sounded like an ignorant dick!

Also, Moomba, I know that we sing about the Invisible Man but I am yet to see an empty seat buy a pint at half time or a shirt at the club shop.
You think every full seat does ? I've bad news for you, I don't buy anything in or around the stadium, and haven't for about 10 years, I will continue to exercise my right to get good value for money, if City make it good value for money I might change.

Also as a season card holder, that lives 170 miles away, who works weekends, and shifts. I don't therefore attend every home game, its simply not possible, but I will continue to exercise my right to buy a season ticket, whilst I can still afford one. If I don't attend, my ticket is almost always sold, at a loss to me, but somebody still gets the benefit of my seat. I do cherry pick my games to a degree, because luckily I also write the shift roster I work on, but I can;t be seen to take the piss at work. I also attend home cup games where possible, and I haven't missed a home game in europe since we returned to european competition, meaning I subsequently have to miss the odd weekend home league game.

Fair play for that. That is what needs to be encouraged.

He tried to make his (and Ladymans) speculation appear as fact

Dont be ridiculous.

So you think it ok for some very well off casual to buy a bank of three or four tickets and only turn up to 7 or 8 matches a season at the expense of a supporter who would turn up every game if they could.

I believe that is the situation Munich are trying to address.

Yes spot on 80s Shorts.

Also, Moomba, I know that we sing about the Invisible Man but I am yet to see an empty seat buy a pint at half time or a shirt at the club shop.

I'm yet to see a person that has been told to fuck off buy a pint at half time either.

For that matter I rarely buy a pint at half time and havent been in the club shop for years. Maybe I'm next on the hitlist.

You seem to think it is a good idea for a seat to be empty for most of the season so I am just glad that you don't work for the Club!

I think its a great idea that people contribute to the club by ensuring that a seat is paid for every home game.

I don't believe its generally considered good customer service to tell a customer they're not wanted.

They need to be filled with backsides.

Nobody is telling anybody to "fuck off" so stop being a drama queen.

If you have a season ticket and cannot attend then you should be encouraged to ensure the seat is filled.

I know not everyone who attends the game buys a pie and pint or tee shirt but some do. It is a statement of fact.

Also Cleavers, I respect that you sell on your ticket because you can't get to every game. Many other fans are in a similar boat. The Bayern system does not penalise loyal fans like you.

Regardless of our recent success, our fan base is still mainly local and working class.

We still don't have the Cockneys, Scandanavians, tourists, and day trippers to take up any empty seats. However, they are starting to appear, more and more. (buying up the unsold away seats)

Not only that, but our fans can't or won't pay £50+ for a match ticket, unlike Arsenal, Chelsea, and Spurs fans.

However, the fact that Nearly 7000 City fans are on the season ticket waiting list speaks volumes, and shows we can fill an expanded Etihad stadium, if the ticket prices are affordable.

One of the most encouraging sights at last nights parade was the amount of young City fans who were there. We've lost 3 generations of young supporters to United. If last night was anything to go by, City are well on the way to reversing that trend.

so if I went away on holiday and so missed a game, but didn't fancy passing my ticket on to some random who could break the terms & conditions, therefore having my card revoked, I;m not a 'loyal' fan?

If you haven't offered it to me then, quite frankly, you're a fuckin' disgrace.

Sounds like Squirty can afford to go on holiday for 10 games per season - if he is worried about the Bayern system - so you could have his card for half of the year!!

I'd support a scheme that said you could miss scanning your ticket maybe 6 times in 19, as obviously people get ill, married, go on holiday, whatever. Surely we all know there are new borns with season tickets at city... 5 or 6 sets of 95 quid to ensure you've all got seats together when they're old enough didn't look a bad investment. Thus also costing the club revenue. Needs ending or at least disincentives imo.
