I know not everyone who attends the game buys a pie and pint or tee shirt but some do. It is a statement of fact.

Also Cleavers, I respect that you sell on your ticket because you can't get to every game. Many other fans are in a similar boat. The Bayern system does not penalise loyal fans like you.
so if I went away on holiday and so missed a game, but didn't fancy passing my ticket on to some random who could break the terms & conditions, therefore having my card revoked, I;m not a 'loyal' fan?
If you haven't offered it to me then, quite frankly, you're a fuckin' disgrace.

As a ponced up 80s wannabe once said whilst covering a soul legend "I second that emotion"

Covered in 60s, 70s, 80s AND 90s.

an empty seat is one less wallet walking around as far as any business is concerned.

what if for season ticket holders who cant make it or does'nt want to there was an opt out option for games. the club could sell your ticket and refund you the money minus a percentage of course. could be done though the website or text etc. could be done with short notice for on the door tickets too. no need to worry about some knobhead getting your ticket either as its on the club.

Yes spot on 80s Shorts.

Also, Moomba, I know that we sing about the Invisible Man but I am yet to see an empty seat buy a pint at half time or a shirt at the club shop.

I'm yet to see a person that has been told to fuck off buy a pint at half time either.

For that matter I rarely buy a pint at half time and havent been in the club shop for years. Maybe I'm next on the hitlist.

You seem to think it is a good idea for a seat to be empty for most of the season so I am just glad that you don't work for the Club!

I think its a great idea that people contribute to the club by ensuring that a seat is paid for every home game.

I don't believe its generally considered good customer service to tell a customer they're not wanted.

They need to be filled with backsides.

Nobody is telling anybody to "fuck off" so stop being a drama queen.

If you have a season ticket and cannot attend then you should be encouraged to ensure the seat is filled.

No problem with encouraging people to pass on the ticket. I don't see threatening to take the ticket away as encouragement. And it is very much telling people to "fuck off".

I was stung twice by two different lovely city fans on this very forum. Both times were games I was attending elsewhere in the ground and I offered them out for free. One didn't return the cards so I had to cancel and pay an admin fee and one who met me his kid subsequently tried to get his pissed up mate in the ground on my daughters card and had it took off him by stewards. I had a right ball ache getting it back. If I am able to renew there's no way I am giving some scumbag city fan my tickets again and my seat will be empty whenever the 500 mile round trip is feasible.

If you want the download version which is just about City, it's in this link on the left hand side second on the list: http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/5lspecials
