5 Live Adebayor

i did see him play,he was shit. Had a gay perm as well.

I remember him at City as well. He obviously thought he was great, but he was nowhere near good enough for the old First Division, as evidenced by the fact that we ended up selling him to Brentford. I disliked him because he seemed very arrogant, without being nearly good enough to get away with it.

Just looked him up on Wikipedia. In 1981, he got a shot at a bigger club with QPR, but they obviously thought he was crap too, because they sold him after 23 games. He went to Leyton Orient, where he was relegated from the old Second Division to the Fourth, before playing out his career with Southend and Crewe. That tells you all you need to know.

F*cking hell, Adebayor is a great big gobby shite -its gonna be a competition between him and robinhio!..............

its no longer a one man crusade! Robbi has got a pal!

What everyone needs to realise is Man city is being spread around the world whether it be Ancelotti in USA or Fergie in the Far East or even Hughes in South Africa with City - everyone is spreading the word!!

The pr job is done and there is more of awareness of who we are!!

I love Ade's big mouth. Such a nice change from the usual stage managed, tight lipped, bland as feck English pro. He projects confidence in himself and the club, not a terminal fear of saying the wrong thing.

Anyone else just listened to 5live. Caught the tailend of an interview with Barry Silkman and sure he said the real reason for the Adebayor delay was something to do with his pension, then Chelsea came in and expressed an interest but said it would be a couple of weeks before they could move. Fair play to Ade - he obviously chose us.

They then had the odds guy from William Hill on saying Terry 1/10 to stay at Chelsea.

something to do with his pension??????

FFS I have heard it all now.

Yeah, a guy on £7m a year REALLY has to move because of a pension.

(not shooting the messenger mate)

well if hes on that much money how much do you think his pensions worth. duh

To be fair Silkman talks crap, has always talked crap and will always talk crap.

I heard him go onto say how we need "a creative player as we dont have one, someone like Fabregas... Ballack or Ronaldo"

Take no notice of what he says, he told me he :-was helping Rolf Harris move house!
:-won a karaoke competition!
:-was going for a curry with Roy Walker!
:-was going to Paris with Melanie Sykes!
