For those wondering, when including a term of race or nationality "e.g. black, or even Argentinian)" as a way to embellish a verbal attack on someone, you are being racist and are guilty of a racially aggravated public order offense. Nationality and ethnicity are treated the same by law.

The nationalistic chanting is just more socially accepted, and therefore unreported.

So if I hear a rag refer to Tevez as an Argie twat I can have him arrested? Is that what you're saying?

I might have guessed you'd have weighed in to a thread about racism, and predictably not for completely positive reasons.

It's this simple; he yelled, "Evra, you black twat'... As soon as he'd used the pronoun - there was only one 'Evra' on the pitch to my knowledge - he'd identified the subject for his abuse. Therefore, the 'black' was completely obsolete and not in fact an adjective... Ipso facto, he was reinforcing his insult to add a racial slur.
It's not rocket science, it isn't even basic City & Guilds drooling.
Also, he called someone a twat in front of his two daughters... The twat.

Obsession? I've quoted you about three times in over three years. As it happens I do have a passing interest in you in a clinical sense. You are a curious specimen. Your views are so anachronistic as to render them comedic tbh. Either that or you are an internet persona, which would certainly explain a great deal.

Fuck me i'm a right twat then. Been taking my two daughters to City games since they were both 6years of age and now they've grown into two beautiful respectful 18 and 20 year olds. From the old North Stand at Maine Road and then into the South stand and finally settled in the East stand. Took them everywhere to get the passion of MCFC and they've heard it all and heard a lot from me at games especially derby matches. The thing is they both know that football is a release valve from the pressures of your working week and factory language stops there and is not used at home. Fucking world's gone too precious these days.
