5 Live: Police investigating racist incident at Etihad

Last week against everton from block 111, I saw a lad at the bottom of their block, first row clearly calling someone in the city end a "paki". A copper saw this and he grabbed him and took him up the steps along side 111. I don't think anyone else knew what he was being kicked out for as he got stick on his way out but I knew and witnessed it.

Did anyone hear anything about this from the media or was it a "top story" on sky sports?

if its true what the man is alleged to have said, whether in the heat of the moment or not he's pretty damn stupid bearing in mind the cases that have been highlighted recently with people doing monkey gestures, to do in front of two young children at a time we are trying to educate our youngsters is deplorable.
BUT if ferdinand himself only got a slap on the wrist for referring to ashly cole as a " choc ice " then i think give the benefit of the doubt on this occasion and a short ban, maybe.

Not a bad suming up at Derby Games passions run high and on occasion the mouth runs off before the brain catches up,see coin chuckin and wearing stupid hats from what ive read in this thread the guy knew what he'd said was wrong if he was sat there with two youngish daughters i think i would have just had a word to tell him how out of order he was if he didn't listen or was a complete nob then have a word with the stewards but not before.From what i've read he don't have a history of it so warning about future conduct and short ban at most.
