That is a good pointIf he had the club’s best interest at heart why did he fraudulently suppress the attendance figures over a sustained period?

He NEVER had the clubs interest at heart, it was all about him, the single most reprehensible figure in the clubs history in my opinion, the thing is i bet there was far more damage done and skulduggery off the scale that we don't know about, a dreadful inept con-artist and that's me being charitable.I think Swales got too much stick personally. Always found the cash for players, think of Phelan, Curle etc other big money buys as well. Just hired pretty poor managers that was the big problem. He had the clubs best interest at heart
I’m up for it if it can be placed at the front of the director’s box, peering out across the pitch.I can see I'm losing this Statue suggestion.
Needs to be prominent. Least we can do.I’m up for it if it can be placed at the front of the director’s box, peering out across the pitch.
We could have a ritual ‘Swales Out’ rendition towards it every game.Needs to be prominent. Least we can do.
Or the "combing of the hair".We could have a ritual ‘Swales Out’ rendition towards it every game.
Or our version of the two minute hate from '1984'.We could have a ritual ‘Swales Out’ rendition towards it every game.
