52 | Oscar Bobb - 2025/26

He's a lovely player to watch, some players just 'get' the game & movement, he's one of those players.
Not sure how to really describe it ha

Remember some posters saying Bobb had reached mythical levels while he was out injured and he was never as good as people were claiming? Well that today is why he is /was rated so highly.
I clicked on the matchday thread , maybe 10 minutes in , just in time to catch someone asking sarcastically if Bobb was supposed to be an upgrade on Sav.

Maturity, mentality and skill in his assist. On TV the pass to Reijnders looked obvious. But many would have tried to slot Haaland through as he’s the senior player and obviously the main man for goals.
Perfect lass, perfect weight.

They just say it in hope of Bobb failing to deliver. Anyone who appreciates talent knew Bobb was special just by watching him in the EDS and the few games he’s already played for City. RW position is all his if he stays injury free.

Not sure it’s a hope Bobb fails, I think in a lot of cases its posters that want big name signings and use Bobb not being proven as an argument against those that say we might not need XXX because we have Bobb.
Wouldn’t be at all surprised if this season we see Trafford, Lewis, O’Reilly, Foden Bobb on the field together and that’s exciting.

I hope Pep keeps playing O’Reilly in midfield. Himself and Reijnders being added to CM this season will completely change the dynamics of this team. Bobb and O’Reilly may both cement their place in this team by the end of the season.

It is absolutely joyous, for me.
There is something truly special about local players, with you for years, who become able to play among the world's best. It also sets a standard that this is a club where there are opportunities to receive the best education, coaching, and a chance of a career in the game at the very highest levels.
Viana has said, specifically, that a priority is to see academy players through to the first-team, and this was an aim stated by Khaldoon several years ago as the long-term vision. If we, this season, end up with the five names mentioned, and then in cup games bring in a couple from the EDS, the vision will be utterly obvious.

Watching Bobb, Reijnders, Cherki was a delight yesterday, their connection as footballers was obvious and hopefully will only get better, intelligent players all of them and hopefully Foden and others join the party

Probably the same posters moaning about "letting" Palmer go.
