I don't think Pep would play anyone for the purpose of building up their confidence. Either you make us a better side or someone who does plays over you. The idea is to win games, simple as. Neither Bobb nor Savinho have shown they deserve to be in the first 11 at City.

2 goals between them in 62 appearances certainly backs that up.

Unfortunately you are correct living off that Newcastle goal ,one trick pony with that great turn he does ,offers no goal threat and adds nothing to the play .worrying he couldn't put on a performance against a championship side .

agree with previous comments. he still has the skill and can easily beat a man but then doesnt seem to be able to get away and often seems to want to beat too many

Doesn't do enough to warrant a place in the team. Not sure the "make the pitch wide as possible" tactics get the best out of him.

Agreed. No one has claimed that right wing position. I don't want cherki out there but don't want to sacrifice foden. It's a bit of an issue.

Dokus just played well. Much better than anything Bobb has shown this season.

He plays on the right against teams that don't give up space, this game was the opposite.
