5th Round - confirmed Sunday 4pm kick off

Strongest team v Chel$ki and Red Dippers @ Wembley.

Fittest and least risk team away at Kiev.

Piss UEFA off, keep Aguero, Hart, Kompany, Silva and Yaya at home, then do Kiev big time back at Etihad.

The FA Cup game should have been played on either Friday or Saturday in the name fairness and a level playing field.

Can't we face adversity with some backbone, go against the grain and try and prove it can be done, i never remember the great teams chasing trophies on all fronts whinging. I accept it is unfair, i accept we will be tired, but that why we are at the business end of trying to win things. Too fucking easy just to throw the towel in, we have a brilliant team/squad lets use it. Lose trying, otherwise its a kick in the bollox for those who follow the team with hard earnt cash. We can beat Kiev over 2 games, rotate the squad.

Hi
Yes it is an issue because time and time again the FA and UEFA have screwed us again and again. I suggest you look at our Agenda thread. Good luck on Sunday BTW

Your not the only ones who think their victims of an agenda, when you look back at certain things its really looks like we've been stitched up at times by Uefa/FA.

Cheers for sun bu the last time City fans wished us well v Utd(in 94) we got smashed 4.0 haha

I am in agreement that it should only be first teamers if they need match time other than that EDS. Fuck off the FA. Pity they don't have a jingle before the games because we could boooo that as well.

As we don't have a reserve team and 'the kids' are just some myth, the big squad thing is also a lie as everyone has the same limit, I am just not going to bother going.

Delaying he game to make it the time that it could be played that leaves city with the biggest disadvantage is pathetic by the fa. TV license payers should be well pissed off with the BBC too. I will be glad when the BBC has nothing. BBC and FA and their London centric nature really do need to explain themselves, however they would rather kill the fa cup by the looks of it.

so u want us to take a team in the champions league for granted and risk getting knocked out

With the size & quality of your squad is it really an issue to play on the sunday?

Dont get me wrong tv & the FA take the right piss out of us especially us fans, but we were made to play Liverpool away on the sunday(Stevie G/Demba Ba day) & then had a CL semi v Ath Madrid on the tuesday.

What if you play two strong teams in both games & win both, it'd seem like a fuss over nothing, i wouldnt be surprised to see you win both games either.

What is this common misconception that city have a bigger squad than everyone else?

Competition rules are in theory the same for everyone, ie the max squad size is 25 for the league and minimum 8 of those have to be home grown, and although you don't specifically have to register a squad for the cup as far as I know it's inevitable that you use the same squad, so even money bags city can't pull extra players out of our collective arses for the fa cup.

Ergo, our squad list is no bigger than Chelsea's, or any other premier league teams. No matter how many pundits or fans refer to city having a big squad, it's bull.

No not at all.... I would prefer us to prioritise the domestic treble, it's much more realistic and doable. Provided we don't get hammered in Kiev I'd fancy us to win the tie over two legs.

Just my opinion, but we all know how focused the club and Manel are on the CL.... no doubt all will be relieved in the fullness of time.
