5th Round - confirmed Sunday 4pm kick off

cant we just give it a miss??, or are we lowering our standards to................ahemmm,.......the trafford lot
No, we play anybody who will not play in Kiev, or the Capital One Cup. I would give the players for Kiev, Saturday off, and then train Sunday, before heading to Kiev after training on Monday, with Manuel not even attending the game in London, and taking training in Manchester instead.

Its time we took a stand against blatant bias like this, its clear where the BBC's priorities in football lie, so f*ck them, let them have united, also the FA have backed the BBC, so f*ck them too.

Our game in Kiev is more important for the clubs immediate future, followed by a cup final, that could give us a trophy, so stick two fingers up to the FA, and see how they feel next season, maybe they'll be less keen on shafting us, and just tell the BBC to do one.

Given our current injury count, and the way Chelsea’s season is beginning to take shape, we could easily lose at Stamford Bridge, even with our best available team.
However, the immediate priority is still the next two league games.

Beat Leicester and Tottenham, and then perhaps,we can afford to be a little choosy.

Don't you think putting all our eggs in the CL basket is extremely risky? BTW I am equally as outraged and disappointed as you say and agree the FA Cup draw was rigged.... us v Chelski and rags v Shrewsbury....? Do me a favour.

If we put an under strength team out against Chel$ki and lose, then IF the first eleven get turned over in Liev, a not altogether unlikely prospect, then the first eleven come back injured, knackered and gnerally fucked and lose to the Red Dippers at Wembley that's our season more or less over. Out confidence will be on the floor and we will struggle to recover.... and all because we prioritised Kiev. Would be a disaster... don't you think?

Would much rather go full on with a full strength starting eleven v Chel'$ki and pick the most suitable and best eleven v Kiev taking into account The COC Final on Sunday with the priority being to win at Wembley.

Then take it from there, including the return leg v Kiev. I would hate for our season to be finished before March.

Football at this level is about money and developing the brand unfortunately. The only two cups that matter to the powers that be are Prem League and CL League. I don't think The 5 trophies in 5 seasons expectation even included the CO cup! I think if you offered the club guaranteed CL semi final if it meant losing the CO cup final they would accept that. The fans wouldn't of course!

The FA cup is a fans cup not an owners cup or else more clubs would take it seriously. Look at how we treated it last season. Showing up back from a meaningless friendly in the sun the day before the game. Problem is it wasn't meaningless to the owners. It was more important than the FA Cup.

If you gave Sunderland, Newcastle or Villa the option of staying up or winning the cup, it wouldn't be the latter. It might be for the fans but not the clubs. The only two clubs to win it in the last 20 yrs outside the the bigger names are Wigan and Portsmouth. Unfortunately their successes don't inspire owners with confidence.

They'll not be wanting an Etihad sponsored team winning an Emirates sponsored cup !!!

No but an Emirates sponsored one would be just great. Can't think of one though

Oh by the way anyone noticed Arsenal have had 3 piss easy home ties so far!?!?

Just don't train for two weeks.... or send the kids.

It's evident why foreign teams do better in Europe but the Einstein's in England continue to blame the foreigners. In any other country their respective FA's would be arranging games with European football in mind.

Edit: Send the kids, request the full allocation and sell zero tickets.
