Good performance today. Didn't put a foot wrong.

Sharp passing pace, while most team mates are rolling the ball at slowmo speed.
You mean apart from the winner where he had two chances to stop the cross coming in and didn’t stop either?

The slack this fella gets on here blows my mind. Since he has become a fixture in this side, we can’t stop conceding goals. We have gone from clean-sheet kings to conceding every week, yet Ake is apparently is doing a sterling job. He is playing slightly better than Akanji and what a glowing reference that is at the moment.

We are supposed to be the Harrods of the football world, yet are playing Poundland CBs every week. The sooner we get our real CBs back and we stop fucking around with two guys that wouldn’t get in any of our supposed weaker rivals sides the better.

Indeed but you will no doubt get slaughtered for that view.

More than once, Rodri moaned at him for not passing to him or Cancelo when they were free and just giving it to Akanji or Ederson (an example was in the first half when Rashford went down injured, Rodri walked over to him to have a moan).

While he’s not giving it away, and while he did play well other than that and while he is actually bloody fit unlike the others, he’s not at the same level as our missing centre halves with the ball.

One of the reasons why we are conceding so many goals this season is because we don't have a settled defence due to rotation or injuries. Both Stones and Dias ( who I feel are our best cb pairing) or injury prone, but Dias 's form hasn't exactly been great this season and I would say Ake whilst not perfect has been in good form.

...
Not easy for the left footed CB to cover his missing team mate on the wrong side. But yeah, Aké should have done better.
Like Akanji not even looking for Rashford and Eddie not going for the obvious cross.

Relatively speaking I would agree. I think he is playing good for him, as in I don’t remember him playing better here, or at any of previous clubs. However Ake “good” is absolutely miles below what we have seen previously from other CBs at the club. He is passable for a dozen games per season to give others a rest. He’s not good enough to play every week in a side that expects to win the PL/CL.

Ake is a good center back that leaves it all on the pitch, criticizing his performance is a lack of understanding at how difficult it can be to play center back for us. You dont have a lot of work but at any time you can have to deal with an world class player 1 vs 1 at full speed on an open pitch. Lots of cojones and concentration are required

A terrible performance by him.

The number of times he pushed forward only for Spurs to send a ball behind his area was mindbending.

Have some positional discipline.
