Ake was at fault leading to Rashford goal but apart from that very solid performance.

I want this guy in the trenches for Anfield.

I really like Gvardiol but Aké is a monster in top form right now, and he’s the kind of guy to relish a big emotional game

Ake has to play at Anfield, it would be a mistake going with Gvardiol. That’s nothing against Gvardiol, I just think it’s better suited for Ake, especially against Salah.

I think it's clear Ake is nailed on for Sun given he was rested on Wed. Aside from his general defence which is superb, he is also good in the air which matters as you can expect a few thrown into the box trying to find Van Dick's head

Gets away with a lot and seems to be favoured by our fans (voted ahead of Rodri for player of the season last year, wtf?). Great player, but nowhere near as faultless as some suggest. First goal for Wolves, Arsenal's winner, Spurs equalizer, responsible for the goal against Crystal Palace and poor against Liverpool and responsible for their goal.

edit: The Ederson thread has tens of posts. Meanwhile, silence here. Massive favouritism among our fans...

Needs to go straight to Ederson and apologise for that shit, lazy pass.

Acted like he was out for a Sunday stroll rather than Liverpool who play 100mph.

Repeating what you said in the match thread . Shithouse .

For all his good work this season he will be remembered for that back pass , he gave the game to the Dippers, he hasnt f*cke dup al season so why did he save his cock up for these shower of bastards.

It’s worse place to do it. The crowd were near silent and all we had to do was not give them anything to get them up for it. Anyone can make that mistake but for the love of Christ, don’t make that mistake at Anfield.

Probably not a favourite but gets credit where is due. Today he had a decent game but made a mess of one pass by giving the ball away to Nunez however Ederson shouldn’t have come out like a steam train, something he does all too often. The equaliser you mention against Spurs, the player came right through the back of him and by rights should have been given as a foul as I’m sure anywhere else on the pitch it would have been.

Not having him at left back (but since we haven’t had a LB since Kolorov,he is the latest in a long line of stop gaps).
Think he has been poor in games where we are under pressure on his side which started with his horrible performance at Wolves when we was running in water.
Also, without Grealish in front of him, nobody else offers any protection
