Yep, Injuries have taken their toll, his hamstrings are strung like piano wire and you can see his reluctance to push for fear of injury. Not good for a defender whose main attribute was pace. Sadly I think he is done and we will be nowhere near silver ware if he is played regularly whilst others are out. Pep playing Max tonight tells us a lot about how reliable he thinks Nathan can be in the middle.
Ake's main attribute was never his pace mate, one of the best defenders I've ever seen in terms of his reading of the game and his positioning.

Sadly as others have said his injuries have taken their toll and this coupled with the high line we play means he's struggling.

If he goes I wish him all the best, he's been a model player for our club, if he stays I'm happy about that too
