Ake for me always looked better as a defensive LB into a sort of back 3.

He only faced wingers aerially and never had to push too high up.

As a main LCB he has to face proper aerial threats and his weakness there shows alot more, and we rarely saw it in his time here early on because he was mostly a LB.
