6 | Nathan Ake - 2025/26

Like stones, if he was fully fit all the time he would be one of the best in the league. On his day is top quality, its only fitness thats ever been the question for him. If he stays fit and gets a move he will be great wherever he goes.

He's so so intelligent and consistently uses that to his advantage by being in the right place at the right time and his timing of a challenge is top. However, heart is always in my mouth when we play a higher line and he's racing an opponent towards our goal...

Brilliant player even from his Chelsea youth days he stood out and not just because of his hair.

I was really pleased we signed him eventually. Just a bit sad he has had numerous injury issues. If he'd managed to keep fit we'd be in statue territory.

Can't see him wanting to be 3rd choice for his position(s) though so along with Johnny & Bernie I think we'll be on a group fair well.

If we do pull the Prem title off we could be in the ground until dark....I doubt it but even Pep may decide on the spur to leave with a treble in the bag.

TDLR.....Thanks Nathan. Once a blue...

Ake and Guehi are a better pairing than the Chelsea centre backs.
They could have saved themselves a few quid if they had kept them.

It'd be lovely to keep him (as the only other natural left footer other than Gvardiol, Guehi is right footed).

But with Gvardiol, Guehi, Dias and Khusanov... it might be hard to convince him to be a backup.

But if he is willing, I hope we can keep him.

There’s been reports of late linking Ake with a possible move to Bayer Leverkusen, and we’ve likewise been linked with an interest in Maza.

I like Ake as a professional, but if we can move him this summer and rehabilitate Reis, then it is a better move for squad development.

Mr Reliable. Such a good defender. Both he and Guehi did well today in reading the game and covering one another.

The same as John Stones; the issue is fitness. The time is right to move him on. Barca would be very good move.

I thought he was out this summer but I seriously doubt that now, incredibly dependant stand in

The only thing is that there is Khusanov, Dias, Guehi, Gvardiol and possibly Reis.
I'd like him to stay but he will.probably move on to get deserved game time.
Make a great addition to any of the teams coming up, his experience would be invaluable.

I don't know another player who can simply step in and look like he's being playing regular football like Ake, that's a very valuable asset. If he's happy to be a squad player, he stays for me
