We don't know what Pep's opinion is ..What we know for certain is that those 2 are the 2 best Fullbacks in the team. Hence why they are both starters. Luckily for us Cancelo is adaptable. Hence why he plays Leftback.

This is by no means a sign Kyle is better.

No more than Dias moving to LCB when John is playing. It's not proof that Pep thinks John is better. Rather, it's proof that Pep thinks Dias can adapt better on the left.

Cancelo is obviously a talented footballer but he is costing us defensively. Today he gave away a stupid and unnecessary free kick which led to their first goal. He should definitely have cleared the ball for a throw in but gave away a corner for the second goal. He then clutched his head pathetically to get an Oscar.
