He also played a large number of games at right back as well. He wouldn’t have racked up those minutes under Guardiola if he hadn’t been performing consistently well.Never once won city player of the month. Didn't win city player of the year. When he felt like it. Similar to Leroy in that respect. Little wonder there wasn't a problem with either leaving. No malice meant to either but they lacked the emotional commitment which sets our squads apart.know he's a headcase, but Cancelo was a good player for us.

Just like you I watched the games. He didn't ever perform consistently well. In fact, consistency was his problem. He was either the dogs bollocks or just bollocks.
