Just I don’t see him as a Kev more as an out and out striker.
I’m not bothered as I like what I see so far.

Kev 2024/25 is not Kev 2018.

Marmoush literally came off to be replaced by KDB at Arsenal and went up top with Haaland. It’s where he always plays now, sometimes interchanging with Foden if Pep wants more delivery into the box.

I love how his first touch is always forward. Reminds me of (I know) Joao Felix in that sense. When he came to our place a few years ago with Athletico he played really well and having an opposition players whose first touch is always positive makes a big difference to a mindset I think.

Foden used to have it, now he’s a bit more conservative. Hope Marmoush doesn’t fall into that trap because a positive first touch is how to break quick and will work in his, Savinho, Doku and Haaland’s favour with their pace.

It amazes me everytime how Bernardo straight up refuses the through ball for like 4-5 years. Marmoush will soon realize and be a pass back merchant too.
