He's definitely not a C/F, another off or wide of a striker .....decent, but certainly not something special, bit like Havertz.....if you had one big chance, he wouldn't be the player you would want it to fall to.

I'm not as impressed with his movement as some here are. You have to be in sync with your teammates, making hopeless runs that are impossible to pick isn't a virtue. Movement is about timing and positioning and on the balance he hasn't shown enough so far

Superb movement which will take time to come to fruition but I think he thinks he is better than he is.

Superb movement which will be beaten out of him either by pep or by watching the midfield pirouettes

His touch is what I have been less impressed with. His movement is very good. His teammates have to make the pass.

Its not like he is sitting off side permanently
He is making a run from deep, teammates have to be better at seeing that play.

I've noticed you're quick to criticise our new players. How about giving them a fair chance before giving more non expert opinions?

Continue to love your positive vibes Samuel, I though you would be happy with block heads winning goal last night.

Dax, you OK, mate?
That reads like you’re having a stroke!

Every run isn’t to be picked out. It can be to create space.

And, it goes without saying, after two weeks, your criticism is harsh…at a minimum.

I was expecting him to be in the Firmino/Tevez mould but he doesn’t seem to be as technical. However, his movement was encouraging and I’m confident he will link up well with Haaland.

Think he suffers from the same I-have-to-score virus like Savinho before.
He isn't free in his first contact as well as his finish. Actually a shadow of what he did in Frankfurt weeks ago. Nothing to do with opponents, he just doesn't play free flowing.
Bet he is disappointed about himself.

Keep cool, Omar. It will come.
Or as Pep says, just be yourself.

Let's face it, if he hasn't got that sync after two weeks he's clearly never going to get it is he?

Honestly, the state of this place.

Thought he had a bad game today but he kept going and didn't get disheartened, which I really like to see. With Nunes I see him sometimes getting frustrated and letting that affect him, which I've not seen from a new signing in a long time and I really hope doesn't bleed into the squad.
