I think some forget just how well Jesus started at City. He was a good player for us, the problem was, he was competing for game time with great players. Marmoush is a long way from showing he is a great player.

He’s stopped running in behind which is so concerning. His debut against Chelsea was unreal. Everything done at pace and with urgency and eagerness to get in behind their defence.

Not now. Now dropping deep and trying to create that way. That’s not his strength at all.

Hope next season sees a massive change in how to approach games.

Because we make sure there isn't. There's always space in behind if you move the ball quickly enough and have movement regardless of how deep a team gets.

If you insist on a static formation that moves the ball at a snails pace then they'll never be space.

its still a big mystery to me how almost never a pen that is awarded against us is missed or saved but we miss fair few of them. of course I dont care if we miss one vs Salford City at 6-0 up but in an FA final 1-0 down its huge...

Ortega and Ederson saved pretty much nothing when it comes to pens how other keepers than do it from time to time?

Alveraz and Marmoush were both brought as forwards and have not really played in their true positions. Alveraz was sold at massive profit because we could not accommodate him.

Haaland looks shite in our current system and he’s definitely better than Alvarez, so I’m not sure we can compare Marmoush to anybody just yet.

Maybe so, hopefully he'll look better next season.
On Haaland, i've never been convinced that he was a Pep want, just not a Pep type of player
