God forbid if the big man went down, he'd certainly step up and do the job with confidence with his ability. Don't want to see his time wasted with lack of minutes. But he knew the squad he was coming to.
He's actually our best presser and combines with Erling better than Julian did.
Anyone doubting him can also go look at Julian's thread and how many moaned about his first touch.
Omar is a better fit for the team than Julian.. the only thing is we need to use him and Erling as a foil for each other in a 4 4 2 or a 3 5 2 system.. but that's on Pep.

Rotation with Cherki is a possibility but I'm not sure on Marmoushs ability to find the passes Cherki does.
Rate him but he's got a fight on at the moment

And you're only ragging on Trafford because of 1 sequence of events that isn't even his own fault.

Have you seen his saves or his play with his feet. It's poetry in motion. It's much better than Donnarumma's and it fits City's style a lot better.
Trafford is not the problem! Selling him to another competitor in the PL would create a problem for us!

If we are 2-1 down and we bring on 2 wide men but he remains on the bench, he probably doesn’t have a future here.He will be gone in the summer if he can’t get in the team and I’d be gutted as he is quality .

This is on Pep; we should do Egypt a favour and allow him to join early. Pep, anyways, does not fancy him .He will be gone in the summer if he can’t get in the team and I’d be gutted as he is quality .
Even Alvarez after leaving city looks a more complete player .

5 minutes plus injury time to make an impact when chasing a game never works well for any player. The lad just doesnt fit in anywhere in any system we've played.

I think his lack of control on the ball is why Pep doesn't fancy him as much.
I think Pep would prefer him as a false 9 instead of Haaland when injured or for rest, but as a creative option he can be lacking with keeping control of the game.
