Couldn't we try a 4 2 2 2.
Rodri Nico
Cherki Phil
Haaland Marmoush
We could but we’ll be waiting a while for Rodders. He seems to be struggling

A 10? Have you seen his first touch?Use him at#10 behind Haaland and lets what can he do
Yeah, he's quick but not electric, a bit lightweight and his touch is a bit clumsy. If we could get the ball to him quicker and in a bit more space I think he'd be very effective, but with a slower build up and opponents sitting in he's operating in tighter spaces and it just doesn't seem to suit him at all.To me he looks like a classic guy who's just not quite fast enough at the very top level. Every time a ball gets played through he either gets knocked off it, tackled or is under so much pressure when he takes the shot it's no good.
If he was a yard quicker he'd be an entirely different prospect.
We did this last season with Haaland out, it was Bobb, Savinho, Doku or Marmoush as split strikers.Couldn't we try a 4 2 2 2.

Yes but the operative word there is 'current'. Marmoush has shown at Frankfurt and at City that he can be a top player but I do agree that at the moment we have struggled to integrate him into the side. That doesn't mean his fate is sealed. For us, in our current guise, that's where he fits. He's not a main striker as we have the best one in the world. He's not as good as foden as a 8/10. He's not as good as doku on the left. It's not a slight. For me he's good enough for the squad but our best 11 doesn't have him in it. All opinions of course.

Try it lol
He has a shit touch, can't play the 10He needs to play in the 10 behind the striker. Is he better than Foden or Cherki?

You say "2 goals since April" like there weren't two months off in between and like he wasn't then injured for two months, lmao. There's something weird going on behind the scenes with this lad. He seems to have fallen foul of Pep and consequently, out of favour. How else can we explain the limited time given since he regained fitness and the fact he comes on after Bobb and Savinho, two of the biggest duds at City at the moment.
2 goals since April is not a great return. Comes up with the odd flash of brilliance and not much else, which is becoming the norm for most of our recent signings. And of course, away to AFCON soon and will be even less useful.
