The way some of you talk about Sterling... why would Real Madrid even want him?

Because he’s one of the most productive attacking players in world football.

Literally just out of form at the moment likely linked to playing more than anyone else in the whole squad.

But then the reaction when Stones Gundogan Kolarov Nasri etc. don’t/didn’t play well are/were many times more vociferous towards them than towards Sterling.

Stones has had as many good games this season as Sterling has with many fewer minutes yet Sterling gets away with it with 90% of our support because the shit he got from the media and fans of clubs like Liverpool/Burnley/West Brom/Stoke has made everyone blind to his poor performances or over the top in praise towards Sterling.

Plus Bernardo played well as many times in December and January (Arsenal Leicester Wolves United) than Sterling has all season.

But then the reaction when Stones Gundogan Kolarov Nasri etc. don’t/didn’t play well are/were many times more vociferous towards them than towards Sterling. Sterling has as many PL goals as Mane, Sane and Kane.

He already has 20 goals in all competitions this season.

His contribution to our season is already huge even with him having been off form.

I’m not talking about goals. Sterling has played well in 3½ games (West Ham, Spurs, Atalanta, Villa) all season. He’s scored in games where he’s been very poor outside the goals.

I'm aware. My point is that either he's as bad as everyone is saying he is and Real Madrid wouldn't want him, or he's actually a lot better than most people are giving him credit for.

Like Aguero then because he’s specialised in that for years.

Scoring 20 goals by January is an AMAZING record and more than forgives some performances. Take those goals out of the team and we’re no where near the same level.

Sterling is just suffering a dip in form after an outstanding period and it’s most likely just due to him being over played with no City player playing as many minutes as him.
