What dribbles? I keep reading dribbles but when was the last time he „dribbled“ past a player. And no he didn‘t go past Denayer.

Him dribbling is a myth.

The crazy thing is...and it’s going to sound fucking whacko after tonight, Sterling is now a goal scorer and not much else. He has got 30 goals this season but his all round game compared to 2017/18 and 2018/19 has fallen off a cliff.

I have no issues with the guy, any player who bags 30 goals a season from the wing is doing a lot right but if your game becomes all about the goals, you can’t be missing open nets from 2 yards out in CL QFs.

He literally set up Kevin's goal with a turn and weighted pass.

Total bollocks. 30 goals in the season. Yeah he missed a sitter, but he's a human being. Find us a replacement and i'll listen!

What's bollocks about that? I'm not blaming him for the loss, there's a lot in there tonight that went wrong.

All I'm saying is he's at a stage in his career where if he wants to be a CL winner, he needs to be composed and clinical in front of goal. I'm asking can he do it?
The KDB goal is the example - did ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANTLY and squared it to a guy who converts when it matters.

probably because he has a tendency to scuff the ball or let it roll over his foot.

I'm not the only one who sees it. Blimey Ferdinand just said it - if you want to be a giant club, you have to be clinical.

I'm dying for Ras to add it to his game.

He pretty much missed an open goal against Liverpool too in the league game at the Etihad, but it got glossed over as Wijnaldum diverted it in.

But he's also bailed us out thanks to being clinical.

He bailed us vs Bournemouth and Saints. Also managed to piss away games like Burnley. Most painfully he managed to waste a chance at a SF. He clearly isn’t good enough when it comes to finishing.

Let’s face it though, any decent winger would get that many in our team with the players around them. We create so many chances it’s unreal. Sterling, Jesus and to a lesser extent Mahrez are all incredibly wasteful. De Bruyne alone could’ve easily had 40 assists this season

And Everton. And Schalke. He scored an important opener against Tottenham in the league this season and Arsenal last season. There's probably a few important goals he's scored for us if you really count them up.

Also, once again, he almost single handedly dragged us to a semi final last year. Does that not count for anything? The sitters are annoying but they are not what's holding us back. Especially when the same players score crucial goals for us elsewhere.
