I think over the last three seasons he's increasingly scored goals that would suggest he's improving in his confidence. He's scored some nice goals over the past two seasons in particular. I suppose a leopard never changes its spots in this regard, but there's been a positive trend moving away from these issues that in my opinion entitles him to have people appreciate the progression he's made. He's scored more and more goals each season; more this season than the two previous when we were a better side and he wasn't anywhere near as overplayed.Completely agree, it happens.
My qualm isn't with him missing one of those, it's with why he missed it. All too often he scuffs it, which makes him more prone to doing it. The others on that list regularly score sweetly struck goals, I just hope Ras can add it to his game.
He's still growing as a footballer. The miss sucks and he'll know it more than anyone but the fact is there are probably far more games we've won thanks to him than lost and I reckon that's only going to get better in the future.
