Agreed. Foden is much better at running directly at defenders around the box - I'd like to see him played in Sterling's role some time.Dribbling was never his strong point. His main move is to knock it past the defender and beat them to the ball with his pace. Unfortunately that's proving a bit one dimensional and easy to defend against.
That’s true. The thing that I look out for in a slump is workrate. That's what gives me the most encouragement that they'll get over it soon enough and come out of it stronger.
Walker last season worked hard through his slump last year and he got through it. Aguero's had a few over the years but grafted through and came out on top. And Sterling's currently working hard for me. I think he's as committed as always and he'll come out of it all the better.
That is way too harsh,he has 20 goals because he is in the right place at the right time,i did say he would be run into the ground without sane to rotate on the leftIf he has any thinking time his lack of anything remotely good in his game comes to the front. he cant dribble, he cant cross, he regularly gives away possession with very simple and short passes, he very rarely goes past the first defender just runs into him and gives away possession. Very rarely helps in midfield and defense.
But tapping in from 2 yards thats his game only got half his goals because of assists of KDB or tap ins.
