I agree. Everyone's getting on the Sterling's back but Kev should share an equal part of the blame.

He's the captain, he's the penalty taker, we are 1-0 up, not 4-0. He wears the armband, he needs to take that responsibility.

To allow him to take a penalty knowing this happens, with a penalty having a 20 second break until it's taken is asking for trouble

Then its really poor by our negotiatiors to even consider offering him raise.

Brilliant movement, positioning, versatility and work ethic vs absolute dogshit finishing.

Unfortunately for him, this team is already filled with players of the first kind whereas we need players who can finish. His USP in 17/18 and 18/19 was his much improved finishing and incredible chance creation rate. The latter disappeared last season and now finishing has completely abandoned him too.

He can be world class again if gets performing again, but he is a wildly inconsistent player.

My biggest pet peeve is that his ceiling is Mbappe but his floor is Joelinton. We can't rely on a player that gets paid 300k pw with such a high variance in performances. Compare him to Kevin who even on his worst days creates 3 chances a match. Or Aguero who can play total shit and still score a brace. We need better.
