I’m a usual critic but thought he was great today. First and second half.

Even when he doesn't look like he is playing that well he seems to score, get an assist or be otherwise a key part of us scoring.

My only criticism of him today is that he didn't run across the pitch and do an Adebayor style knee slide, in front of Klopp, after he scored!

He’s scored double figures for the 8th year running. Closing in on becoming the 30th player to score 100 Premier League goals (in a race with Mané and Salah). Slowly coming into form at a great time. Club’s top scorer.

Can’t wait for him to terrify Liverpool on the weekend.

He frustrates me somtimes but past 2 games he has been brilliant, especially today, TAA is still in his back pocket, hopefully he can keep this form up and carry on putting chances away.

It deserves mentioning again but at one point shortly after the equaliser he dribbled past SIX Liverpool players in a single run. That was when Carragher said wow on commentary if you remember

Still getting it in the match thread but for me, he was running at Liverpool players for what felt the first time ever, he got a pen and his dribbling created the 1st and scored.

Just think what he will be like when he actually plays well.

The courage he showed second half was outstanding. He's been a magnificent player for us and is on course for another great season.

11 attempted dribbles today, only 5 came off but it's the intent that he often lacks in that left wing position, he kept going at Trent today even if it didn't come off and he got a pen and set up a goal for it and was in the position for the third. That's the intent and hopefully a goal at Anfield will complete his circle, get the monkey off his back and we can have that Raz back, or a better version than no longer doubts himself so much.
