To be fair Sterling was brilliant in those back to back title winning seasons.

I just laughed when he missed that golden chance at the end, glanced at my father and said "He's done it again." It was just typical of him.

Got slated in my group chat for saying I wouldn’t mind him leaving. Still haven’t got over those sitters he missed against the rags when we were 2-0 and lost 3-2 and the Lyon one last summer was unforgivable. He’s not a big game player and is now a liability. Foden finishes all of the above.

Sterling seems to be one of the most under rotated players in the squad yet i think compared to the seasons before this he has not had a good season at all.

Foden on the left would have been the obvious choice today especially with his form right now for me it seemed before the game i just don’t get it.

Why is pep so insistent on playing Sterling?

You won’t get a huge amount of disagreement on my part re Sterling.

Not sure if you took my last bit to mean to the detriment of what we’ve seen from Sterling in the last few months - I meant the team as a whole - let’s face it we have been pretty effective, today and a couple of scrapes aside.
