In another move that will no doubt make @Kippax77 furious, Sterling just refuses to stick to playing football and has set up a charity to help out disadvantaged children.

And it looks like he's getting all his main sponsors to match his donations to set up the charity.

I'm not really fussed about having this million and that million. What will make me happy is seeing I am able to help. Even if it's five people, even if it's one, at least I have helped someone come out of their bubble and experienced that there is something better to England.​

We have 3 games Sheffield, Liverpool and Tottenham coming up. I wonder where our goals will come from. With Aguero and Jesus injured. I have no hope on sterling. Maybe pep needs to start trusting delap. Play sterling in right. I hope he gets it right this time :(

Don’t think I’ve ever been more frustrated with a player.

I don’t know whether he’s the shittest good player or the best shit player I’ve ever seen. It’s one of the other, just can’t work it out.
 
Give Tevez, Toure or peak Aguero those chances with 10 minutes to go at 1-1 and they win the game - that’s the bar for world-class, and it’s laughable that people suggest Sterling might be of that level.

We were down this road with Sterling before many believed it was a wastevof time and money bringing him from the dippers. But he improved and actually looked very impressive for a while. I think he is suffering currently from often being played out of position and also being expected to be the match winner. Not sure what the future holds for him but a big offer from the likes of Madrid would have to be given serious consideration. That said he could easily hit a purple patch again particularly if the team is revamped over the next season or two.
 
Sterling has one of the best work-rates i've ever seen. Off the ball, HE'S PERFECT. He's aways in the best positions and make the right moviments.

The problem is: with the ball on his feet, he's a Brighton player level. (That's not a joke)
People talk a lot about his stats but forget that no team in the world played in a more offensive way that City for the last 4 years. Also, doesnt matter how bad Sterling form is, he'll start every game of the season and will play every minute unless he's injured or feeling some discomfort.

This sequence shows some of the reasons Sterling is not a world class winger (as his professional debut was 8 seasons ago and he's still didnt learned the basics, he probably will never do):
As I said before, he aways in the right place to receive the ball and make the right moviment:

He's super fast. No defender can challenge him:

There's a defender close to him (he noticed that). The best choice would be to follow the yellow line and shoot with his left leg (so the defender cant block the ball). He chose to follow the red line and lose the ball to the defender:

I know WC players make dumb mistakes sometimes, but Sterling does too much often. He makes big mistakes most of the times he has a good chance to score. A WC should at least control the basics most of the time.

As comparison, I'm gonna use 3 players: 2 of them were academy players not too long ago and the third one is an offensive RB.

For ball-control I would rate:
Foden as 8.5 out of 10
Torres 8
Cancelo 7.5
How much u think Sterling deserves?

Shooting:

Can a player be considered WC based only on his stats when her technical skills says the opposite?
