The style of football played when Sane was here is different in comparison to the style now. As another poster pointed out, it’s more technical, methodical, etc.
This style has probably brought out Sterling’s deficiencies to the forefront. With this happening and the effect on his form, the furore amongst posters have been colourful.
He’s a class player no doubt. He’s currently not playing the best football he can. He’s the only one who can force himself to adapt and go up another level. Whether that will happen, only time will tell. Pep will act accordingly.
While he’s a City player, all critique or support is fair game as I believe we all want the best for him. Some also want to eat humble pie when things turn around for good. I’ll just keep shouting ‘come on City’ regardless.
