Jack Harrison's best season of his career: 7 goals 6 assissts. 13 total.
Raheem Sterling's worst season in several years: 14 goals, 11 assists. 25 total.
Stats have made Sterling look like he has a decent season, thought we already established his overall performances have been terrible.

Sterling is obviously off-form. According to some press, he might well be moved on - he's been a source of frustration so often that Pep may possibly have decided to move him if he wishes.

Some thoughts of mine since yesterday’s game...

Sterling wasn’t our worst performer on the day, but I thought him and Torres painted a really clear picture of the issue pep is having with our second string. At our best this season we have become a totally dominant possession side, and we’ve achieved this by having players across the front line and midfield that have excellent technique and retain the ball brilliantly.

Foden/Mahrez have become inside forwards as opposed to the classic wide wingers we used a few years back (Sterling/Sane), and that role in the team needs great technique, and vision and pass execution to create chances for others. Sterling just can’t do it, he gives the ball away far too often and he doesn’t possess the creativity of Mahrez or Foden. Both him and Torres were supposed to tuck inside yesterday in absence of midfielders but it was disastrous, we couldn’t control possession at all in Chelsea’s half and Rodri was left stranded.

Looking at the game yesterday I thought it made it quite clear why we are looking at Grealish who could carry out that role far more effectively than Sterling (and Torres at present).
