You know what you're insinuating and that's why I wrote "verging".How can what I've said be considered libellous when all I've done is recall my general experiences of watching games at the Etihad during the 15-16 season? I've not accused any specific person (or group of people) of any wrongdoing, I've just raised to the discussion the possibility that the criticism certain City players have received from our fans is elevated by of sinister motivations. I'm not saying that's what's happening, I'm just not ruling it out. That's not libel.
My problem isn't admitting that Sterling had a bad spell, it's that the people who readily forgave our other players for their bad patches won't extend the same slack to a guy who's scored over 100 goals for us.
There does seem to be a gutter full of scum on Twitter who make it their mission to spew bile at him, and others. The majority seems to be because of the colour of his skin and it’s truly disgusting. The likes of Rashford and Wan Bissaka come in for a lot of abuse too :(I can tell some on Twitter hate Sterling for the sake of hating Sterling.
Don't say it too loud, but that was a brilliant first half from Raz in my book. Direct, confident and productive. That was an England Raz - is it the white shirt? Keep that going***.
Edit: ***Faded quickly in the second half again but still an improvement!
