Different player on the right.
I agree. He was bloody good on the right.I’d start him Wednesday if only to help Cancelo. But I think his pace and ability to beat men would also be useful.
Spot on really. That second half shot inside the Leeds box when he fell back on his arse summed up his frustrating lack of finishing.Great energy and much improved performance, just so frustrating that his end product and finishing isn’t on the same level.
Runs down dead ends and just into a sea of opposition legs far too often too, suppose if we had a top striker like Haaland then he would know just to get ball in the box.Spot on really. Agree, really good team performance yesterday. Think he’s almost a certainty to start against Madrid. Hopefully it’s down the right again where his pace could cause them loads of problemsThought his energy was on a different level. Won't mind him starting at Madrid
I think if he were a guaranteed starter for We'd, he either wouldn't have played yesterday or got pulled once the game was won.Agree, really good team performance yesterday. Yep, same front 5 as last week - Kev, Bernie, Phil, Gabby and Mahrez.I think if he were a guaranteed starter for We'd, he either wouldn't have played yesterday or got pulled once the game was won.
Think Mahrez will be given the gig

Strange one for me if that’s the case. The extra pace and energy should work well in a game like that. Also he’d offer far more support to the fullback against their pace winger.I think if he were a guaranteed starter for We'd, he either wouldn't have played yesterday or got pulled once the game was won.

I think Pep will bench Sterling on Wed.Strange one for me if that’s the case. The extra pace and energy should work well in a game like that. Also he’d offer far more support to the fullback against their pace winger.
Big Mahrez fan and not a huge fan of Raz but I think it’s horses for courses and this game should suit him down the right. Would also start Sterling against the scousers despite his often shocking finishes. His pace is a real asset for us against the odd side who don’t park the bus.
just be honest and say you dont want him anywhere near any games we playI think Pep will bench Sterling on Wed.
I don't want him anywhere near any games we play;-)just be honest and say you dont want him anywhere near any games we play

Jesus you’re easily pleased.Had really high hopes for this kid from when I saw him playing in the youth sides and it’s fair to say he has exceeded even my expectations. We have a wonderful talent on our hands - my favourite current City player
Shit - meant to post that in the Foden thread :)Jesus you’re easily pleased.
