Okay, cup games are fine.

But im watching the champions league games and seeing so many under 20 players dominatinf at Barca and PSG and wondering... why does his age matter?

Isnt he good enough, and specifically, better than what we are seeing in midfield right now? Then play him, age is irrelevant tbh.

age doesn't matter for me, clearly not ready to play in the middle either though. He's fine learning where he is for now.

Why is it that no one under a certain age is unable to play in the middle for city but it works at any other club? And please don’t say that it’s because Pep‘s system is so much different. Enrique and Flick play a similar system with more free flowing football.

i just don't think he's good enough yet. still loses most of his duels and gives the ball away needlessly. dont care about his age. Don't think McAtee is either. (too start games anyway, last 5-10 etc no problem with when we're up)

Makes me think we didn’t fight for Neves because of his age. Football is in a transition anyways. Looking at Khusanov we might not do wrong if he just starts a game. Gundogan and Bernardo don’t offer anything.

Nah, he was just tapped up and Mendes bound to PSG from day one pretty much. He moved a lad the other way as well, fingers in all the pies on that deal.

Nico will get there, he's got something about him just not yet imo. Seems to have taken on some kid of mythical yaya regen in some peoples minds. Just a tall tidy midfielder who's being bedded in. Just relax, let him learn.

*Leicester coming up put 6 past them 1st half and get him on. they are wank lol

He has said that he does not feel ready to play in the CDM role. I read that the club believe that he has all the talent and attributes to deliver in that role but he does not think he can yet.
 
Bournemouth in the Cup then Leicester at home in the league should kick on his career with City.
