Yes used to get 98, 82, 180 etc into town from Failsworth then ....

You can get the 77 to Eastlands now!
Drops off at Philips Park Fire Station.

Both the 76 and 77 go down Briscoe Lane to eastlands.

I used to get the p11 from town to Maine Rd

Used to get the 24 to stevenson sq then the 76 match bus . For a while selnec made all kids buses 2p. At the time it was 30p to get in the kippax so 38p the lot travel & entrance

yep we were still at school and remember paying 2p.always tried getting on the top deck.as we passed down upper lloyd st remember seeing waterholes such as moss side british legion and the robin hood.belting.

Yeah used to be on that. I remember the 2p fares for kids finished at 10pm. Used to panic if a cup game went to extra time as I had to get a second bus from Piccadilly and it used to be close.

I used to like getting the No. 11 Southern Cemetery bus to Maine Road. Sometimes wish I had not got off.
