Him and Dias. :(That's patently wrong. Gundogan was superb in the run-in back in 18/19 when Fernandinho got injured in February and struggled to stay fit and to regain form till the end of the season. Actually, we looked better and more solid with Gundogan than with Fernandinho. Gundogan played a huge role in winning the title and the domestic treble.
I worry that Pep doesn't rotate Gundogan enough and he may lose form. But now that Kevin is injured Pep hasn't much choice.
Depends how old you are mate, I've seen a fewTell me if I'm out of line here, but I think I could count on one hand the number of players we've had in my lifetime who are capable of conceiving and playing that perfect chess pass to Jesus that should've been assist of the season.
That aside, it was a De Bruyne-esque game. His form lately has been fitting of peak KDB.
His most ardent supporters claimed he was a 6, and being forced to play 8 made him look worse because apparently it wasn't his best position. I'd take what they say with a grain of salt - they know nothing.
Gundogan seems to have turned this around by and large through a change of mentality and improved physical condition. He seems a lot more agile, more combative, more explosive. Here's hoping that it continues.
