He was surrounded by ball losing players. Kev, Dihno and, Aguero were all rusty and misplacing balls often.

That said, he was still nondescript. So I agree it was a poor game for him.
Yeah I feel the same.

A quiet game from him, but not helped by the rustiness of Kev, Dinho and Aguero.

The fact that we can still win these games against one of the most in form teams in the league with these players who haven't played together that much shows alot.

I'm actually happy with it. I knew the team would be clunky. But the rest was needed for Bernado and Cancelo.

Next game, Gundo can rest and we can Start Bernado next to Kev, Rodri back at the base. Cancelo in for Walker. Cancelo Sterling for Mahres and Foden for Ferran.

Then we will be fresh for the Derby.

quiet, the injury was probably a sign of his tiredness but it's just interrupted his form and he's struggling to rediscover it, give him a week off and let him just focus on the derby.

There were a few half hearted jokes about hoping that he doesn't return to his old self after being out injured for a game.

As unlikely as that sounded at the time, the signs after his return aren't very good tbh. Struggled quite a bit last few matches.
