I don't know if he just wasn't fully fit, or if it was KDB back in the side but he looked to be playing deeper and more conservatively, wasn't buzzing around the final third like he was before this little injury.

Thought he got forward a fair bit and got into good positions, just wasn't as slick or assured as he has been. Another day and he could have bagged another brace. Just getting back up to speed I think.

I think Arsenal did quite well in keeping him a bit quieter.

We didn't see him roaming their box as often as he had done before, I think the end-to-end nature of the game for long spells affected that natural part to his (and really our) game.

Yessir!!! How are you man? :)
I’m good brother. I had the Covid for a month (seriously, wtf ... the damn thing wouldn’t go away!!) and my dad was in the hospital for two weeks but we’re finally recovered. All’s good now.

Staying busy like our boys in blue. Hope you’re well!

If we’re staying on topic Ilkay sat too deep today which is fine, but not where his value lies. Almost scored that beauty though :)

him and Bernie suffer from the Kev conundrum.

Sorry to hear that. Glad you all bounced back :)

I think Gundo played his regular position, just missed on his opportunities. He had 3 of them and there were 2 others where an extra pass to him from Sterling and Mahrez would have caused a simple tap in.

I think Arsenal played us well after the first 20 minutes.

I felt the absence of Rodri changed the balance and impacted the performance of Gundogan and possibly Cancelo also.

His level dropped comparatively to the rest of the teams overall drop in performance, no more, no less. He was fine without being spectacular and possibly guilty of being a little sloppy at times. Could easily have scored from a couple of chances and the narrative changes to him having a stormer.
