A really understated solid performance at the base of midfield. Tracked well, covered passing lanes and as usual never wasted a pass. Captains armband really suiting him this season, just oozes class.

Probably one of my favourite players of this City/Pep era to be honest. Definitely one of the best buys made under Pep.

He's versatile but excels in every position he plays. Even bagged 20+ goals playing a false 9 role in 20/21. Said in the match thread before the game yesterday that Rodri was a big blow but Gundo was there to soften it which proved to be right.

He's so, so, so good and I think massively underrated too. Walks into any other team on the planet and personally think he should into ours as well. It's just that Kev and Rodri are undroppable and Bernie is in the form of his life.
