I think this is spot on.I think the upturn in form is a case of the new system suiting his play style a lot more. Relying on the width from the wingbacks and trying to get us in behind more, means more bodies in the middle to create space for him to drive into from deep, more players to play one-two’s etc
Despite being so good on the ball, having space to run into has always been his game. When we’ve pinned teams in so much in the past, all he’s been able to do is play sideways passes. There’s space in behind now.

I reckon we are talking about a difference word of harsh when Kova was treated. Like someone was harsh harsh on Foden, and his comment was Foden was the worst player in 24/25 team, just slightly better than Kova. When Kova put up a performance like Bernie vs Forest yesterday, he would be slayed as losing the ball at dangerous area countless times.Find me a player that has not been treated harshly this season bar Nico
