so did foden’s. and no, i’m not comparing kova to foden. but people on this forum constantly shit on kova’s achievements. he was never and will never be a superstar, but how did he end up in inter, real, chelsea and city. why does pep play him at all?

as I stated in my original post he is the 2nd best no 8 option so far in the squad but I suggest we should develop or buy a better option

Does winning 4 CLs on the bench something shit? I think that it is great achievement for a squad player.

watch newcastle first goal. Yes Walker was stupid but how could the ball come so easily? Watch how Kova slowly jogged back and had no idea of where he should be...

Doku and Josko certainly did not do well but you will expect something more from an experienced player to command the movement around in this kind of situation but no every time like this Kova will gracefully disappear and blend himself into the backstage. Well that is some experience to avoid blame...

He was the more obvious sub as you’d usually keep Bernie on. I thought he was playing very well though so Pep got the sub roo.

Should react better in situation after that collosal Rodri pass to Doku on the left , Doku made a nice step back a pass the ball in the midle , Kovačić barely touched it , Gundogan would score from that position, but besides it , great game.
