Get a grip. Kova has been MOTM for us many times. He is a useful utility player. Blame the management for not buying a genuine starter to replace Gundo. Poor pen, but Pep is the one who selected him. I would have selected Rodri, who scored 2 beautiful pens for Spain recently.

Anyone can take a bad pen, I don't care about that.

What I care about is the myth that he adds any sort of control to our midfield. He is mostly a liability and he certainly hasn't had "many" MOTM performances for us. He failed to stand out for years in a bang average Chelsea team precisely because he adds so little.

He was a bad buy, the only thing I agree with is that management is to blame for not replacing Gundogan with a genuine midfield starter, because this guy ain't it.

He also didn't cover himself in glory against Spurs or Chelsea both of which we held leads when he was on the field and both where we went on to drop points against despite the superhuman control that he gives our midfield.
