Just a class above at that level. Needs to be in the first team squad and getting a chance. Has that spirit of youth and quality that could reap rewards and drive us to success this season.

Pep clearly rates him highly as well. He has got back to full fitness, now time to unleash him in the first team when opportunities arise or we need a spark.

*I recognise he has already featured for the first team by the way. My comments are now that he is back to full fitness again.

Wouldn't have any qualms in him starting tomorrow, albeit it won't happen, he will be on the bench

I’m really hoping Pep gives hIm a run in the next few games.

I am certain he would not let us down, and he has that very special quality of making something happen out of nothing.
Pep won’t do that I don’t think, there’s just far to much riding on these games. I would throw him on if we were chasing a goal though, he’s got that special ability to create something out of nothing.

The main thing with Cole, and what makes him that bit more special is,unlike Mahrez, who he most closely resembles and could/should replace, that he almost always makes good decisions with the ball and knows instinctively what's best for the team in the final 3rd.His timing and weight of pass also come natural,he really does make the game look easy.

Is not mentally ready yet to given chance in the most important phase of season, in late season with many title still at stakes he have no chance at all as starter.

Maybe it will different if we lock up Premier League title early, but it's down to Pep and senior player fault that they didn't lock the title early as possible.

People still forget that he is still academy player while his skill is enough as backup/rotation player or in specific tactic scenario as a starter, mentally is not ready yet to be given the same responsibility as senior player in the first team.

Senior player having enough experience and maturity can handle mentally if City failed to win any title this season, they can bounce quickly from disappointment and focusing to get prepared for the next season. While youth academy player more often than not can't quickly recovered from their failure to keep up with the rest senior player in their first team mentally, so they need to be handled more carefully and let senior player takes the role as spacegoat from criticism in case team having a failure this season.
