Still a million miles to go whether he is or isn’t in tomorrows squad. Plenty of players have made the bench for clubs this weekend from the academy. Judge them when they’ve proved themselves over 10-20 games in the mens game.
Nothing to get excited over a right back neither.
No he’s not 5ft9 at all. He’s more like 5ft6 or 5ft7 max, possibly even 5ft5. And I think he’s finished growing height wise.
I mean an academy player that comes through the ranks at the same club .
As I say my expectations are high, and I don’t think mcatee or palmer will make the grade neither at our club. Foden was a freak.
Good luck trying to replace Kyle walker with an academy player though! Hopefully we give the lad experience and sell him on for profit. But to replace Kyle’s pace, power and ability to get up and down the pitch, I just can’t see it coming from a young academy lad.

Mate chill out. Our academy is fantastic.

Also why on earth do you seem so sure a 17 year old is finished growing?

he should be played as a winger. as a fullback he will be like playing a kid against grown men.

Perhaps he has an array of skills that Kyle doesn't. Football is about what you are good at as much as what you are not, and Kyle would tell you that he has no left foot whatsoever, just as one example.

Great news for a top prospect. To go from U18 to first team squad means that the manager must really rate him.
