I’ve never seen a player get so much time as he did for that goal. Had time to slip too! Unbelievable. Whether that was Lewis or one of the CB’s fault I don’t know but it was a shocking goal to concede which seems to be becoming the norm for us this season. We have to work very hard for goals yet teams only need one or two chances against us. We gift so many easy goals.
It’s a product of asking your rightback to play in midfield, and centreback to cover at rightback. They were all focused on recovering back into a default position, rather than dealing with the man as they would have if they were in that position to begin with.
Lewis is a very talented boy who’s doing very well, especially considering the weird expectations he currently has on him.

Because he wants a RB who can play in midfield when we have the ball and play RB when we don’t.

Felt sorry for him today, played really well and did his job well but Mahrez being Mahrez and doing the bare minimum meant Lewis and Kev were having to do a real shift on that side of the pitch, he's got a great future
