He is going to be a superstar! What a performance! He was the best player on the pitch for me.

Rico's sporting ability was never in question but the maturity with which he plays is unreal. Leipzig tried to bully him out of the game early on but he decided to take the game to them and shine the brightest!!

He reminds me of Kimmich a little bit. Can play multiple positions and great at controlling the tempo

I would say he's like Philip Lahm. Pep is definitely moulding him into to that kind of player

He’s now another ahead of Kalvin. As much as it would have been great for Kalvin work out here he’s behind 6 players for a role in midfield. 8 if you add Stones and Akanji.

Rico’s performance while not the same as what Rodri offers, brings movement, energy, composure and the ability to move the ball quickly hence why he will be trusted in midfield as well as right back

You forgotten who the manager is? Waistcoat wouldn't have a clue what to do with Rico. Foden can't play central for him because "he doesn't play there for his club" apparently, so he'd implode with the idea of using Rico who plays a different position everytime he sets foot on the pitch.

Yet he’ll play Tront there after a couple of games in midfield.

Pep asking senior players how Rico acted when he wasn't playing last season and all the senior guys vouching for him almost guarantees he'll be a star
