Everything else is there, but he is just not a defender. Everything good about his game is midfield-related. On the other hand, every issue is a defensive matter. Hopefully, we will stop playing him at RB and start playing him exclusively in midfield.

Still not really convinced with what he is that he gives us, or what he excels at.

Obviously age is well on his side, but just not sure he's a right back, or will ever be good enough to play centrally for us regularly.

I have to agree. I can't see him ever being an elite FB but could become a very good CM player.

like most I see his future in midfield. yesterday it felt sometimes that he takes a touch too much but otherwise he looked good.

He shouldn’t have been the last man tbh, even if he had gone when the striker did, I doubt he’d have caught him. Another solid performance.

18 !! I can't get my head around his age, he playes like a seasoned pro and will only get better not just tactically but more importantly the physical side, by the time he's 21 he could be incredible.

Superb last night. Has everything to be a top quality midfielder, great change of pace, first touch, reading the game, dictating the pace of the game and I’m sure will start finding the net more regularly with more game time. We have another international quality gem.
