Will the Euros come too soon for hm next year? In the future I can see him and Rice sitting in front of the England defence, allowing Bellingham to roam. Foden and Saka playing around and off Kane. That's different gravy.

If he stays playing a considerable role for us he wont be too far off the squad. Depends iF southgate knows how to use him. Hes already ahead of phillips at city

Just wait til he gets a little bit of his man strength and he gets a yard or two quicker, the sky’s the limit for him

Phillips is on the plane to Germany even if he never plays a game from now until the end of the season. I think Southgate has made his mind up there. Same with Maguire.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him start alongside Rice if we are to play a top Euro nation in the competition.

World Cup in 26 will be the one to watch for Rico.

The attacker was just on. Maybe a bit naive to try and play him on but I thought he was still absolutely fantastic.

Everything else is there, but he is just not a defender. Everything good about his game is midfield-related. On the other hand, every issue is a defensive matter. Hopefully, we will stop playing him at RB and start playing him exclusively in midfield.

Poor defensively for the goal but another good display. Pitch hampered his tight game as much as anybody but he coped well after a few early slips and loose balls. Expect him to start every remaining champions league game.

Still not really convinced with what he is that he gives us, or what he excels at.

Obviously age is well on his side, but just not sure he's a right back, or will ever be good enough to play centrally for us regularly.

Hope I'm wrong!

I disagree. Other than playing their attacker a few inches onside, I thought he didn't give them anything.

I'm aware that Young Boys are far from 'top tier' competition but as I've said previously, he still gives us FAR more in the buildup/attacking play than Walker does.
