He turned 20 this season. How is that not a young player? A lot of those appearances were also as a sub as well.He's played just shy of 100 games for the club mate

He’s got a decent touch and a 10 yard pass. Struggling to think of anything elseCome off it! He’s been class in a number of games. If he’s the worst player you need your eyes testing.

He's been an absolute disaster all season. He just cannot defend and is constantly costing the side. For a player who wants to play in Midfield he cannot move the ball quickly. He's been at the scene of so many crimes this season.

I’ve said it before, he got his chance through pure blind luck and circumstance. Cancelo and Walker were in the doghouse and Pep wanted to make a stand. I don’t think Pep expected a full Cancelo meltdown but that’s what happened and all of a sudden we were a right back down.Nothing going for him? Why is pep picking him then
We then went to 4 CBs across the backline, won the treble and Rico and Walker largely disappeared. Walker spat his dummy and wanted to fuck off to Bayern. Pep binned the 4 CBs to keep Walker at the club and all of a sudden, Rico has a place to win again. It’s been a perfect storm in Ricos favour. With these new CBs, Rico will rightly disappear again. He’s nowhere near our level.

Imagine seeing Palmer, Rogers, Lavia, Delap, Frimpong...etc and thinking this guy is the next academy superstar while selling everyone else, but hang on Pep saw these guys in training and they weren't good enough, well Rico must be a mixture of Cafu and Lahm in training, shame we don't see that on the fucking pitch, instead we see this lad who gets bullied like he's 12 years old.

He’s played in great city teams so his weaknesses didn’t show as much. But never been anything better than “average”.
Doesn’t have the pace, physique nor the technical touch… but oh, he’s got great tactical awareness, bore off with that shite. Not good enough.
He’s been inconsistent as most 20 year olds are. But then again the multi million kind players we have, have also been average

He’s also dropped De Bruyne for a number of games this season. He’s out of form in my opinion, hence why he’s not been starting, but I’m not writing off a 20 year old, who has shown potentialYes I do. But he saw Gundogan and Lewis are nowhere near good enough and dropped them both.
